What are DIgital Paintings?Digital or Virtual Paintings are created using software such as Corel® Painter™, Corel Painter Essentials® and Adobe Photoshop® using a Wacom® tablet to render photographic images into digitally painted renderings. The image has the appearance of a reproduction print of oil or acrylic media, ink drawing, water color or pastel chalks. We will choose and recommend the surfaces that a specific image should be produced on as the rendering is specific to the size and surface of the material for best appearance. Reproduction Details: We produce the 13 inch wide or smaller prints personally primarily on our Epson® R2400 printer with Ultrachrome K3 inks. Where appropriate prints may be produced on our Canon iP6600D printer using Canon® Chromalife 100 inks. Color accuracy between monitors, printers and media is maintained by color profiling using a X-Rite Color Munki for monitor and printer calibration. Printed onto archival quality canvas or textured artist papers. These prints will last for many years without color fade when displayed in a proper manner. Virtual Paintings may be produced with a small, 1/4 inch; white border all around the edges, border-less with image printed to all four edges., or when produced on artist canvas, with a large border to accommodate a standard wooden stretcher frame. Limited Edition prints may be offered with other margin widths. These are specified for each image. Note: Sizes marked as “traditional photo size”; will fit into readily available photo frames and precut mats. Prices subject to change without notice. |
